課程概述 |
This course aims to introduce and study James Joyce's _Ulysses_. Though Joyce's corpus is arguably manageable in length, its complexity remains daunting to Joyce readers and scholars. It is the aim of this course to try initially to unravel some aspects of the Joyce crux. The other equally important focus of this course is to introduce recent critical trends in Joycean studies. Selective readings will be required with an aim to familiarize ourselves with recent development of the critical scene. |
